Course Description
This course is designed to meet ACC Level I and Level II training requirements
through interaction with 150 mentored cardiac case reviews over 5 days. Competency
is achieved through integration of didactic teaching, direct real-time case interaction,
extensive clinical case review and supervised workstation experience for advanced
cardiac multislice-CT applications. Participants will receive Level II certification
at the completion of the 5 day course.
Each participant will learn technological advantages of multislice CT imaging in
the evaluation of cardiac and vascular disease, including protocol optimization
Familiarize themselves with normal and variant anatomy of cardiac and vascular systems.
Identify and characterize disease in these systems, and become acquainted with the
impact on clinical decision-making. Learn the workstation skills necessary to generate
clinically meaningful post-processed images.
